**Definition:** A post-translationally modified form of probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX5 (p68; DDX5) where the tyrosine (Y; Tyr) at residue 593 is phosphorylated. In tumor cells, platelet-derived growth factor-induced phosphorylation of DDX5 Y593 is associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and resistance to TRAIL-induced apoptosis.
