Supinator Muscle

**Definition:** A muscle in the posterior forearm that originates from the posterior proximal shaft of ulna and the lateral epicondyle of humerus and attaches to the proximal third of the radius on the anterolateral and posterior surface; it functions to supinate the forearm.
