Long Ensemble Angular-Coherence Doppler Ultrasound
**Semantic type:** Diagnostic Procedure
**Definition:** A method for doppler ultrasound with increased ability to detect slow flow in small vessels. The technique operates on data acquired using multiple plane wave transmits at different transmit angles. For each Doppler sequence acquisition, a long ensemble of data is acquired that reduces the signal-to-noise ratio and improves target detection.
**Synonyms:** - Angular Coherence Doppler Ultrasound with Long Doppler Ensembles - LEAD - Long Ensemble Angular Coherence-based Doppler
