Anti-EGFR/c-MET/c-MET Trispecific Antibody GB263T
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A Fc-enhanced trispecific antibody targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and two different epitopes of hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR; c-Met), with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration, anti-EGFR/c-Met/c-met trispecific antibody GB263T simultaneously targets and binds to the extracellular domain of both EGFR and two different epitopes on c-Met expressed on tumor cells, thereby preventing receptor phosphorylation and inducing internalization of EGFR and c-Met. This downregulates the expression levels of both EGFR and c-Met proteins and prevents the activation of both EGFR- and c-Met-mediated signaling pathways. EGFR and c-Met, both upregulated or mutated in a variety of tumor cell types, play key roles in tumor cell proliferation.
