Anti-CDH17/Anti-CD3 Bispecific Antibody ARB202

**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A bispecific antibody directed against both the T-cell surface antigen CD3 and the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) cadherin-17 (CDH17), with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, anti-CDH17/anti-CD3 bispecific antibody ARB202 binds to both CD3 on cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTLs) and CDH17 on CDH17-expressing tumor cells, thereby crosslinking tumor cells and CTLs. This activates and redirects CTLs to CDH17-expressing tumor cells, which results in the CTL-mediated cell death of CDH17-expressing tumor cells. CDH17, a cell surface adhesion protein, is overexpressed in a variety of cancer cell types.

**Synonyms:** - ARB 202 - ARB-202 - ARB202 - Anti-CDH17/CD3 Bispecific T-cell Engager ARB202 - CDH17 x CD3 Bispecific Antibody ARB202
