Autologous Anti-ROR1 CAR T-Cells RD14-01
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of autologous T-lymphocytes genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1), with potential immunomodulatory and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, the autologous anti-ROR1 CAR T-cells RD14-01 are directed to, bind to, and induce selective toxicity in tumor cells expressing ROR1. ROR1, also known as neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor-related 1 (NTRKR1), is expressed during embryogenesis and in various hematological and solid malignancies. It plays key roles in tumor cell proliferation and survival.
**Synonyms:** - Autologous CAR T-Cells RD14-01 - Autologous CAR-T Cells RD14-01 - RD14 01 - RD14-01 - RD1401
