**Definition:** A bispecific T-cell engaging antibody directed against both the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A2-restricted, melanoma-associated antigen A4 (MAGE-A4) and T-cell surface antigen CD3, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, anti-HLA-A2-MAGE-A4/Anti-CD3 bispecific antibody RO7444973 simultaneously binds to both CD3 on cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTLs) and HLA-A2 MAGE-A4 on MAGE-A4-expressing tumor cells. This activates and redirects CTLs to MAGE-A4-expressing tumor cells, which results in the CTL-mediated cell death of MAGE-A4-expressing tumor cells. MAGE-A4 is overexpressed by a variety of cancer cell types.
