FHL2/GLI2 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene resulting from a chromosomal rearrangement that may involve paracentric inversion of chromosome 2q that fuses the first 5 exons of the FHL2 gene with either exon 7 or 8 of the GLI2 gene. This rearrangement is associated with ovarian sclerosing stromal tumor.
