Anti-DLL3 CAR-NK Cells

**Definition:** A preparation of natural killer (NK) cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) specific for the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) delta-like protein 3 (DLL3), with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, the anti-DLL3 CAR-NK cells recognize, bind to and induce selective cytotoxicity in DLL3-expressing tumor cells. DLL3, a Notch pathway protein, is overexpressed on a variety of cancer cell types. It plays a key role in embryonic development and in tumor initiation and proliferation.
