**Definition:** A radioconjugate composed of the chelating agent 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid (DOTA) labeled with the beta-emitting isotope lutetium Lu 177 (Lu-177), that can be used for radioimmunotherapeutic purposes. Upon administration, Lu-177-DOTA may act as a hapten for pretargeted radioimmunotherapy, and delivers targeted beta radiation.
