Weber Test Method

**Definition:** A technique that assesses auditory function and/or type of hearing loss, in which a vibrating tuning fork (typically at 256Hz or 512Hz) is placed on top of the head or over the upper lip with the subject reporting whether sound is hear equally in both ears or whether the sound is louder in one ear.
