**Definition:** Clinical signs of deteriorating cardiogenic shock in a patient with probable or confirmed acute COVID-19. Failure to respond to initial interventions to restore adequate perfusion after 30 minutes. Further more intensive therapies are required, including the addition of mechanical circulatory support.
