**Definition:** Acute liver injury associated with abnormal liver chemistries (greater than two times the upper limit of normal) in the absence of signs of hepatic failure (e.g., no coagulopathy or encephalopathy) in a patient with probable or confirmed acute COVID-19. This is usually mild, transient, and does not require intervention.
