ALG3 wt Allele
**Semantic type:** Gene or Genome
**Definition:** Human ALG3 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 3q27.1 and is approximately 7 kb in length. This allele, which encodes Dol-P-Man:Man(5)GlcNAc(2)-PP-Dol alpha-1,3-mannosyltransferase protein, is involved in protein glycosylation. Mutation of the gene is associated with congenital disorder of glycosylation type 1d.
