**Definition:** An autologous dendritic cell (DC) vaccine targeting prostate cancer (PC)-specific antigen(s), with potential immunostimulatory and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration of prodencel, the DCs stimulate a specific cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL)-mediated immune response against PC cells expressing the antigen(s), resulting in tumor cell lysis.
