San Zhong Kui Jian Tang

**Definition:** A traditional Chinese herbal medicine containing sixteen or seventeen herbs, including berberine and baicalin, with potential anti-inflammatory and antineoplastic activities. Although the mechanisms of action through which San Zhong Kui Jian Tang (SZKJT) exerts its effects are not yet fully elucidated, upon administration, SZKJT may reduce swelling, induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, and inhibit cancer cell proliferation.
