Copper Cu 64 Rofapitide Tetraxetan
**Semantic type:** Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A radioconjugate composed of rofapitide tetraxetan, a fibroblast activation protein (FAP)-targeted peptide, labeled with the radioisotope copper Cu 64, with potential use as a tracer for FAP-expressing cells during positron emission tomography (PET). Upon administration of copper Cu 64 rofapitide tetraxetan, rofapitide tetraxetan targets and binds to FAP-expressing cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and FAP-expressing tumor cells. Upon binding, FAP-expressing cells can be detected during PET imaging. FAP, a cell surface protein, is overexpressed on CAFs in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and certain tumor cells.
**Synonyms:** - 64Cu-FAP-2286 - Copper Cu 64 FAP-2286 - Copper-64 labeled FAP-2286
