Salivary Gland Hyalinizing Clear Cell Carcinoma

**Definition:** A rare, slow-growing carcinoma that arises from the salivary glands, usually the minor salivary glands of the oral cavity. It is composed of malignant clear and eosinophilic cells in a hyalinized stroma. Most cases are associated with translocation of EWSR1 and ATF1, resulting in the formation of EWSR1-ATF1 fusion gene. The prognosis is good.
