**Definition:** A radiopharmaceutical consisting of a glucose-derived ligand with a linker containing seven methylene units and an isonitrile coordinating group (CN7DG) labeled with the metastable radioisotope technetium Tc-99 (99mTc), with potential imaging activity using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/computed tomography (CT). Upon administration, technetium Tc 99m-CN7DG accumulates in cells with increased metabolic activity such as proliferating tumor cells. Upon SPECT/CT imaging, tumor cells can be detected.
