**Definition:** A sublineage variant of the XBB.1.16 recombinant lineage of SARS coronavirus 2. This lineage has the same amino acid variations as XBB.1.16 but also harbors the amino acid substitutions G519S and G1101D in the ORF1a protein, and K304N in the spike glycoprotein.
