Chronic Non-Specific Multiple Ulcers of the Small Intestine

**Definition:** A clinical condition characterized by persistent and occult gastrointestinal bleeding, multiple sharply demarcated lesions surrounded by normal mucosa in the small intestine, which do not affect the muscular layer. It shares many features with NSAID-induced enteropathy. The etiology is not fully elucidated but may include a genetic component.
