Psammomatoid Ossifying Fibroma

**Definition:** A rare, benign fibro-osseous neoplasm that arises from the craniofacial skeleton. It is characterized by the presence of multiple ossicles resembling psammoma bodies in a hypercellular stroma. It usually affects individuals in their second to fourth decades. Recurrences following surgical excision have been reported in a minority of cases.
