**Definition:** A neoplasm with smooth muscle differentiation that cannot be reliably diagnosed as benign or malignant because of the presence of ambiguous morphologic findings. The vast majority of cases arise from the female reproductive system. Malignant behavior has been reported in a minority of cases.
