**Definition:** A sublineage variant of the BA.2.86 variant of SARS coronavirus 2. This lineage has the same amino acid variations as BA.2.86 but harbors the amino acid substitutions R3821K in the ORF1a protein, F19L in the ORF7b protein and L455S in the spike glycoprotein.
