**Definition:** Complement component C1q receptor (652 aa, ~69 kDa) is encoded by the human CD93 gene. This protein is involved in the clearance of apoptotic cells and intercellular adhesion; it may also bind to complement C1q, mannose-binding lectin and pulmonary surfactant protein A.
