Autologous Retroviral Vector MSGV1-transduced Anti-PSCA-8T28Z CAR Gamma Delta T-cells

**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A preparation of autologous gamma, delta T-lymphocytes transduced with the gamma retroviral vector MSGV1 expressing a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA), and expressing a hinge/transmembrane domain derived from CD8alpha (CD8a) and a single co-stimulatory domain derived from CD28 (8t28z), with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, the autologous retroviral vector MSGV1-transduced anti-PSCA-8T28Z CAR gamma delta T-cells specifically target, bind to and kill tumor cells expressing PSCA. PSCA is a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked cell surface antigen found in various cancers.
