PD-L1 Expression Positive in Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells
**Semantic type:** Laboratory or Test Result
**Definition:** An immunohistochemical test result indicating that expression of PD-L1 was detected in myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). PD-L1 expression is significantly higher in tumor-infiltrating MDSCs than in MDSCs found in secondary lymphoid organs, bone marrow or peripheral blood and decreasing levels of PD-L1 positive MDSCs in samples taken serially during antitumor treatment may correlate with increased therapeutic efficacy.
