YAP1/NUTM1 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation which fuses exon 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 of the YAP1 gene on chromosome 11 to exon 2 or 3 of the NUTM1 gene on chromosome 15. This rearrangement may be associated with poroma/porocarcinoma.
