Autologous Anti-FcRL5 CAR-T Cells
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of autologous T-lymphocytes engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting Fc receptor-like protein 5 (FcRL5; Fc receptor-homolog 5; FcRH5), with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration, autologous anti-FcRL5 CAR-T cells recognize and kill FcRL5-expressing tumor cells. FcRL5, an immune receptor translocation-associated protein/Fc receptor homolog (IRTA/FcRH) family member and a B-cell lineage marker, is overexpressed in multiple myeloma.
**Synonyms:** - Anti-FcRL5 CAR-modified T-cells - Autologous Anti-FcRL5 CAR T Cells
