CRTC1/TRIM11 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(1;19)(q42.13;p13.11) that fuses the exon 1 of the CRTC1 gene upstream of exon 2 of the TRIM11 gene. This fusion is associated with cutaneous melanocytic tumor with CRTC1/TRIM11 fusion (CMTCT).
