Anti-HER2/CD3 Tri-specific Antibody BR115

**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A tri-specific T-cell engager and monoclonal antibody targeting two separate epitopes of the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (EGFR2; HER2; ErbB2) and the T-cell surface antigen CD3, with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon intravenous administration, anti-HER2/CD3 tri-specific antibody BR115 targets and binds to two separate HER2 epitopes on HER2-expressing tumor cells and CD3 on T-cells. The resulting cross-linkage may trigger a potent cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against HER2-expressing tumor cells. HER2, a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) mutated or overexpressed in many tumor cell types, plays a key role in tumor cell proliferation and tumor vascularization.

**Synonyms:** - Anti-CD3/Anti-HER2 Tri-specific Antibody BR115 - BR 115 - BR-115 - BR115 - Tri-specific T-cell Engager BR115 - Tri-specific TCE BR115 - Trispecific Antibody BR115
