**Definition:** A relative measurement (to the vehicle control) in growth of test cultures during the, treatment, two-day expression, and mutant selection cloning phases of the test. The relative suspension growth of each test culture is multiplied by the relative cloning efficiency of the test culture at the time of mutant selection and expressed relative to the cloning efficiency of the negative/solvent control (Clive and Spector, 1975).
