**Definition:** Related terms (RTs) in the of International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O) morphology and topography coding systems. An RT is any term that is not an exact synonym of the preferred term (PT). In ICD-O, an RT can be broader or narrower than the PT or share some other overlapping or indirect relationship to the PT.
