**Definition:** A publicly searchable database maintained by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) that includes product labeling that is submitted to the FDA by the manufacturer and that is currently in use. These labeled products include prescription and nonprescription drugs for human and animal use, medical gases, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and medical foods.
