**Definition:** A no-rinse surgical irrigation water-based solution containing sodium lauryl sulfate, citric acid, and sodium citrate, with potential wound cleansing and antibacterial activities. Upon administration directly into the surgical wound, the sodium lauryl sulfate/citric acid/sodium citrate-containing surgical irrigation solution cleanses the surgical wound, removes debris and microorganisms from the wound, and reduces surgical site infections (SSIs), thereby reducing post-operative complications caused by bacteria.
