BRD3/NUTM1 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene resulting from a chromosomal translocation t(9;15)(q34;q14) that fuses the first 9 exons of the BRD3 gene with exon 4, 5 or 6 of the NUTM1 gene. This rearrangement is associated with NUT carcinomas.
