**Definition:** A peptide cancer vaccine directed against the receptor tyrosine kinase anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), with potential immunostimulatory and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, ALK peptide vaccine may elicit a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against ALK-expressing tumor cells. ALK dysregulation and gene rearrangements are associated with a variety of tumor cell types.
