Indium In 111-FL-020

**Semantic type:** Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A radioconjugate composed of FL-020, a human prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeting ligand, conjugated to the radioisotope indium In 111, with potential imaging activity during single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/computed tomography (PET/CT). Upon administration of indium In 111-FL-020, FL-020 targets and binds to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, followed by internalization and retention of the radioisotope. This allows for imaging of PSMA-expressing tumor cells using gamma scintigraphy. PSMA, a tumor-associated antigen (TAA) and type II transmembrane protein, is expressed on the membrane of prostatic epithelial cells and overexpressed on prostate tumor cells as well as a variety of other solid tumors.

**Synonyms:** - Indium In 111 FL-020 - Indium In 111-labeled FL-020 - [111In]-FL-020 - [111In]In-FL-020
