**Definition:** A benign melanocytic neoplasm that arises from the conjunctiva and is composed of spindle and/or epithelioid melanocytes and melanophages. It is caused by the combined activation of the WNT signaling and MAP-kinase pathways. It rarely progresses to melanoma.
