WDR19 wt Allele

**Definition:** Human WDR19 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 4p14 and is approximately 103 kb in length. This allele, which encodes WD repeat-containing protein 19, is involved in ciliary protein trafficking. Mutations in the gene are associated with spermatogenic failure 72, cranioectodermal dysplasia 4, nephronophthisis 13, Senior-Loken syndrome 8 and short-rib thoracic dysplasia 5 with or without polydactyly.
