FGFR2/INA Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene resulting from a chromosomal rearrangement of the long arm of chromosome 10 (10q) that fuses the first 17 exons of the FGFR2 gene in frame with exon 2 of the INA gene. This rearrangement may be associated with low-grade mixed neuronal-glial tumor.
