mRNA Neoantigen Cancer Vaccine XH001
**Semantic type:** Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A therapeutic personalized cancer vaccine consisting of mRNA encoding a patient's tumor-specific neoantigens, with potential immunomodulatory and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration of the mRNA neoantigen cancer vaccine XH001, the mRNA is taken up by and translated into the desired neoantigens in the patient's antigen-presenting cells (APCs), primarily dendritic cells (DCs), and presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules on the surface of the APCs. This may activate tumor antigen-specific T-cells to kill cancer cells expressing these neoantigens.
