Anti-MuSK Agonistic Monoclonal Antibody ARGX-119
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A humanized agonistic monoclonal antibody directed against the antigen muscle, skeletal receptor tyrosine-protein kinase (MuSK; muscle-specific kinase), that may potentially stabilize and improve the function of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ). Upon administration, anti-MuSK agonistic monoclonal antibody ARGX-119 specifically targets and activates MuSK, thereby activating MuSK-mediated signaling pathways. This may restore NMJ formation, stability and signaling, thereby stabilizing and improving the function of the NMJ. MuSK is a transmembrane protein expressed on skeletal muscle cell membrane that plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of the NMJ.
**Synonyms:** - ARGX 119 - ARGX-119 - ARGX119 - Anti-MuSK Agonist Monoclonal Antibody ARGX-119 - Anti-MuSK Monoclonal Antibody ARGX-119
