Nose-Finger Assessment for Ataxia

**Definition:** An assessment for ataxia where a seated individual is asked to point repeatedly with their index finger from their nose to examiner's finger which is in front of the individual at about 90% of the individual's reach. Movements are performed at moderate speed. Scores are based on the presence of absence of tremor, amplitude of tremor, or the inability to perform all movements.
