Canalicular Intubation

**Definition:** A surgical procedure to repair injuries to, or blockages of, the lacrimal drainage system. It involves inserting a temporary tube into the canaliculus to help keep it open and sometimes requires slitting of the canaliculus to allow passage of the tube.
