Keratosis Lichenoides Chronica

**Semantic type:** Disease or Syndrome

**Definition:** A rare skin disorder with brownish-purple, thick scaly papules or small nodules arranged in a linear or reticulate pattern on the trunk and limbs. Many cases are associated with seborrheic dermatitis- or rosacea-like lesions on the face. It is distinguished from lichen planus by the absence of pruritus, a lack of response to a topical or systemic corticosteroid and the presence of focal parakeratosis in histological samples.
