Mitsuda Reaction Skin Test

**Definition:** A delayed hypersensitivity test to measure a subject's specific cellular immunity to leprosy. A small amount of lepromin purified from heat-killed Mycobacterium leprae is placed under the skin of the forearm and a positive skin reaction indicates potential resistance to leprosy.
