Anti-CDH17 Antibody-drug Conjugate HS-20110
**Semantic type:** Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** An antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a monoclonal antibody directed against the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) cadherin-17 (CDH17) linked to an as of yet undisclosed cytotoxic agent, with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration of anti-CDH17 ADC HS-20110, the antibody moiety targets and binds to CDH17-expressing tumor cells. Upon binding and internalization, the cytotoxic agent is released and kills the CDH17-expressing cancer cells, through an as of yet unknown mechanism of action. CDH17, a cell surface adhesion protein, is overexpressed in a variety of tumors of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
