**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of lung cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v9 classification system. This classification system applies to carcinomas of the lung, including non-small cell and small cell carcinomas, and bronchopulmonary carcinoid (neuroendocrine) tumors.
