**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of salivary gland cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v9 classification system. This classification applies to cancers arising in the major and minor salivary glands. The following histopathologic types are not included in this classification system: squamous cell carcinoma, neuroendocrine carcinoma, basosquamous cell carcinoma, lymphoma, sarcoma, and mucosal melanoma.
